Susan MacPherson, NAPS Postpartum Doula since 1999, has been fascinated by how babies develop the ability to sleep, the science behind it and the cultural context in which doulas interact with parents ( often beyond tired themselves) . •         Books and Resources.

While not claiming to be a definitive expert, Susan has read widely, explored online sources, taken an intensive 6 month class from Kim West,(The Sleep Lady) and interacted with many clients and babies. The class will be lecture and discussion periods with Handouts.
